Tony Quinn Foundation Announces Bridgestone GR86 Championship Trustees Choice Prize Winners
The Tony Quinn Foundation (TQF) previously announced a significant upgrade to its established Trustees Choice Prize for the Bridgestone GR86 Championship.
This year's prize evolves from the previous Ampol Red Bull Racing Gen 3 Camaro Supercar test to an even more substantial opportunity. The 2025 TQF Toyota GR86 Trustees Choice Prize will now grant the recipient or recipients the chance to compete in the Monochrome GT4 Australian Championship behind the wheel of a Toyota Supra GT4 Evo, racing alongside Tony Quinn himself.
This year's prize has been awarded to two standout drivers from the championship: Hugo Allan, the overall champion of the inaugural Bridgestone GR86 Championship, and Chris White, who won $54,000 towards his Toyota GR86 Championship campaign in the Tony Quinn Foundation Bridgestone Toyota GR86 Shootout. White, also claimed Rookie of the Year and finished 5th place overall.
The two drivers will both compete in a Round in the GT4 Australian Championship and with the potential to extend rounds based on performance. After the initial rounds, the Trustees will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the recipients' achievements both on and off the track to determine if any additional rounds will be offered.
"The Trustee's Choice offers the winners a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a GT4 car within a competitive championship in Australia. It also provides a chance to showcase their abilities as individuals in front of Tony Quinn," said Daniel Gaunt, trustee of the Tony Quinn Foundation. "Tony has been a strong supporter of many young drivers worldwide, and for the winners, this could mark the start of an exciting motorsport journey."
This enhanced prize package represents the Foundation's commitment to creating more substantial and career-building opportunities for promising talent in the Bridgestone GR86 Championship.
